The foreshadowing of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman's Better Call Saul season 6 cameos is only getting stronger in «Hit & Run.» Better Call Saul has featured Breaking Bad alumni of all shapes and sizes since first airing in 2015, but two absentees have never strayed far from the conversation — Walt and Jesse. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul never ruled out a potential comeback in Better Call Saul, and ahead of season 6's premiere, their involvement in the final run was made official. Now, it's only a matter of when, where, and how they'll show up.
Better Call Saul's prequel timeline has drawn considerably closer to Breaking Bad since season 6 premiered. Saul is finally practicing from his famous strip mall office, Nacho Varga's fate has been resolved, and Saul Goodman's reputation as «Lalo Salamanca's guy» has pushed him permanently off the path of a legit lawyer. Other Easter eggs have pointed more directly toward Walt & Jesse. The diner Kim meets clients at is called «El Camino» — a nod to Jesse's Breaking Bad sequel movie, and the blue flower that grows where Nacho died is the same striking shade of blue as Walter White's Blue Sky meth product.

Better Call Saul season 6's «Hit & Run» brings those two long-awaited cameos even closer by offering a 2-for-1 special on Breaking Bad character appearances. The first returnee is Wendy — the sex worker Jimmy and Kim hire as part of their plan to scam Howard Hamlin. Played by Julia Minesci, Wendy previously featured in Breaking Bad's first 3 seasons, usually as an associate/sexual partner of Jesse Pinkman's.
