The Vivo X Note is a flagship phone that was launched alongside the Vivo X Fold, and it packs specs and features that make it a worthy rival to Samsung's Galaxy S22 Ultra. Vivo is actually a close partner of Samsung, being one of the few brands that has launched phones with Exynos chipsets. Its most-recent Exynos-powered smartphone is the 2021 Vivo X60 (China variant) which is powered by the Exynos 1080. Interestingly, Samsung hasn't launched a phone with this chipset yet.
Vivo may not be popular in North America but it has showcased some of its innovative products at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. In 2018, Vivo demoed the world's first smartphone with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a feature that has now become a standard on many phones. The following year, it showed off a concept phone that had no ports or buttons. The phone, which was called the Vivo APEX 2019, also had an in-display fingerprint scanner that covered almost the entirety of the display.
