We Were Here is the first game in a series of online, two-player, co-op games from Total Mayhem Games. The game features a mystery, puzzle-based system that requires players to communicate fluidly and effectively with a partner in order to escape an abandoned castle in the middle of a frozen wasteland. There are 26 achievements in the game overall, and some players may need some assistance in unlocking them all.
While We Were Here is a game for fans of co-op, puzzle enthusiasts, and achievement hunters alike, it differs from games like It Takes Two. The game experience and the achievements available to unlock depend entirely on which of the two roles the player decides to pursue. In other words, this game requires two playthroughs, at least, to acquire all 26 achievements.

With all of that said, one achievement is easier than all the rest. "Everything is Better with Friends" can be unlocked by simply inviting a friend to a game of We Were Here. Aside from the secret, hidden achievement There are twenty-four other achievements to be unlocked.
The secret achievement in We Were Here is calledHappy Ending and can only be unlocked by player 1 in the dungeon area of the game. This requires the player to find the pink lever and interact with it multiple times. Once the achievement has been unlocked, confetti will appear for the player on the screen.
We Were Here is the first in a series of co-op puzzle games that test communication skills between friends and strangers alike. With its melancholy atmosphere, creepy undertones, and complicated puzzles, it is perfect for any pair looking for a couple of hours of fun.
