A much anticipated new feature is thebrand-new Perk-A-Cola called Melee Macchiato.
Perk-A-Cola is an upgrade system which sees stylized vending machines producing beverages to assist the player in their survival. Seven other Perk-A-Colas will be present at launch, but Melee Macchiato is the first perk to be exclusive to . It looks to add to the fast-paced Zombies experience by gearing the player for a dynamic, challenging, and rewarding playstyle, which has the potential to become a fan favorite.
Melee Macchiato will be introduced in the brand-new Zombies maps, Terminus and Liberty Falls, which are available from launch. The perk will cost the player 2,500 points, with the vending machine brandishing a pair of boxer gloves (which will damage nearby zombies when the player interacts with the machine). Melee Macchiato will replace the standard gun butt move with a punch that will launch enemies far away. As part of's new Augment System, the move will be upgraded even further to be devastating throughout rounds.

Two Augments out of a potential six can be added to the Melee Macchiato perk; one Major and one Minor.
