Horizon Walker is a new game by Gentle Maniac, a Korean game studio. By new, I mean it already launched in Korea in August this year. And now, an English version of Horizon Walker is kicking off a global beta test. But wait, there’s a catch!
It’s technically not the global version of the game, it’s an English version which will be using the same Korean servers as the original game. Yeah, in a way, you can say that they’re just adding the option of English language to the game.
So, when will the Horizon Walker English version’s beta test start? It’s on November 7th and the only place they’ve officially confirmed all this is in their official Discord. Just a heads up: the translation might have a few bumps and quirks, according to the devs.
The best part about the Horizon Walker beta test is that there won’t be any data wipe. Your game progress from the Korean version stays safe, as long as you’ve linked your Google account. It actually feels more like a soft launch than a beta.
The devs have thrown in a launch reward, too. You can snag 200,000 credits and ten FairyNet Multi-search tickets, with the guarantee of nabbing one EX-rank item within the ten searches. You can check out the game on the Google Play Store and gear up for the beta test.
Horizon Walker is a turn-based RPG where you team up with diverse characters to take down the Forsaken Gods and save humanity from an end-of-the-world scenario. The only beacon of hope is the legendary Human God who rose up and decided to fight back.
You’ll come across secret chambers revealing characters’ hidden sides and complex romance storylines. The game has a deep, tactical battle system where you control time and space as a battlefield commander.
