Guerrilla Games has released a new Horizon Forbidden West update.
Patch 1.08 (see full update notes below) includes fixes for a number of quest progression blockers, improvements to cinematics, shadows and clouds, plus balance changes to weapons and enemies.
Additionally, Guerrilla has confirmed it’s investigating a number of other issues which it aims to address in future updates.
These include graphical issues regarding shimmering, sharpening and screen saturation, problems with traversal after fast travelling to campfires while gliding inside of a tornado, and players not being rewarded after completing the Black Box Collectibles activity.

Horizon Forbidden West released in February and VGC’s review called it an incredible game that comfortably surpasses its predecessor.
“With better combat, a compelling story and a jaw-droppingly beautiful world, it’s an improvement on the original in every way, even if it does hold on to a few open-world tropes that we could have left behind,” it reads.
