Though players are able to reach the Dry Yearn Relic Ruins fairly early on in Horizon Forbidden West, they won't actually be able to complete it until after they've reacquired DEMETER. This is because the path leading to the ruins' ornament is blocked by an unusual metal flower that can only be removed with a special tool known as the Vine Cutter module.

Metal flowers aren't the only thing standing between players and another fancy light show either, with a blast door, a railcar, and a couple of crates also involved in the acquisition of the Dry Yearn ornament. This guide will explain how Horizon Forbidden West players can successfully navigate the Relic Ruins and get their hands on the prize.
Though the ornament can be seen from the very first area, players won't be able to get to it straight away. They will gain access to a moveable crate after destroying the metal flower though, and this can be used to get up to the raised area with the metal railings on the opposite side of the room to the ornament. There, players will find a yellow wheel that they can use to open the nearby blast door.
Unfortunately, as soon as Aloy stops turning the wheel, the door will begin to close. Players should run through before it does so, though this will leave them temporarily stranded on the other side. To get out, they'll have to use the Pullcaster on the blue metal fixture at the far end of the tunnel and then move the railcar to the spot directly in front of the blast doors. While they're at it, players should also pull down the three climbable beams from the right side of the chamber by grappling onto them with the Pullcaster.
