An early Horizon Forbidden West PC comparison video was shared online, highlighting the differences with the PlayStation 5 version.
The comparison, which was put together by Cycu1, puts footage taken from a recent trailer shared by NVIDIA yesterday side by side with PlayStation 5 footage, highlighting how the PC version may not look that much better than the original PlayStation 5 release, which is a testament to how good the open-world game by Guerilla looks on console. Alongside the obvious higher resolution, which results in sharper details, the PC version seems to feature more snow particles and a few other minor visual improvements.
Seeing how there won't be many visual differences between the two versions, performance is what will set Horizon Forbidden West on PC. Yesterday, NVIDIA confirmed the game will support DLSS 3 Frame Generation and Reflex, which will provide smooth framerates with reduced input delay. Joining the DLSS 3 family in the future will also be Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Dragon's Dogma 2.
Horizon Forbidden West is now available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 worldwide, while the Complete Edition is only available on PlayStation 5. You can learn more about the base game by checking out Alessio's review.
