Honkai Star Rail 2.2 Leaks: New Trailblazer May Rival Game's Best Support
Details about the new Trailblazer form in 2.2 have allegedly leaked, giving more insight into how they will operate with a new Element and Path, as well as hinting at the potential of rivaling one of the game’s best characters. The Trailblazer is the main character of the story and a reflection of the players themselves – Caelus has the male-presenting body type, while Stella is the female-presenting protagonist. Despite not currently being the best, Trailblazer is one of the most unique characters, as they have the ability to swap the Paths they follow.
When they do, not only does the Trailblazer alter their elemental damage type, but also how they play. The Physical Trailblazer is a Destruction DPS unit focused on dealing damage, while the Fire Trailblazer in is a Preservation unit, specialized in shielding the rest of their teammates. The protagonist is expected to receive a brand new form once in a while and, with both the Destruction and Preservation types being available at launch, a new one is overdue. Now, with new Version 2.2 leaks, it seems there will be a new Trailblazer form arriving soon.
As seen in a leak shared by a user on Reddit, which was tagged as a “Reliable” piece of information, the next Trailblazer form will be Imaginary and will follow the Path of the Harmony, making them a support unit in the game. The leak also shows the key art featuring Stella. The protagonist poses, extending her hand to the side. Beside her is Clockie, Penacony’s main cartoon mascot, as the spotlight is thrown on Stella herself.
