Do you need a Welcome to Hogwarts walkthrough for Hogwarts Legacy? Welcome to Hogwarts is the second Main Quest in the game. As part of our Hogwarts Legacy guide, we are going to share our full Welcome to Hogwarts walkthrough, which includes a step-by-step guide to every objective, puzzle solutions, and combat strategies.
You've finally arrived at Hogwarts as a fifth year, so now it's time to be sorted into a house. The Sorting Hat will ask you a few different questions, and your answers will form a suggested house. However, you're still free to pick from Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw at the end. For more information, check out our Best House: What House Should You Choose? guide. Once you've made your decision, a teacher will escort you to the Common Room of whichever house you pick. For this guide, we'll be playing as a Gryffindor.
The next morning, head down to the Common Room and introduce yourself to some other students. In the case of Gryffindor, it's Cressida, Garreth, and Nellie you're looking for. Simply look for the three objective markers within the Common Room and strike up a conversation with them all. Once you're done chatting, leave the Common Room via the main entrance and meet Professor Weasley. In the next cutscene, you'll be given the Wizard's Field Guide and told to follow Professor Weasley.
On the floor below, you'll approach a painting and be ordered to cast Revelio on it to collect a Field Guide Page. Continue to follow Professor Weasley until you unlock a Floo Flame fast travel point. You'll then be told to open up your map and go to the Central Hall.
