Release dares for Hogwarts Legacy‘s PS4 and Xbox One versions have been delayed again.
The game was originally scheduled to release on last-generation systems in April, but will now arrive in May, Warner Bros. said on Monday.
“We’re overwhelmed with gratitude for the response to Hogwarts Legacy from fans around the globe,” reads a Tweet from the Hogwarts Legacy account.
“The team is working hard to deliver the best possible experience on all platforms and we need more time to do this. Hogwarts Legacy will launch for PS4 and Xbox One May 5, 2023”.
The PS5, Xbox Series and PC versions of the game all released on February 10, 2023.

The Nintendo Switch version of the game is currently scheduled to release on July 25, 2023.
Another Warner Bros title, Gotham Knights, had its last-generation console versions cancelled in the run-up to release, suggesting the publisher could be moving away from the last generation once Hogwarts Legacy is released.
Hogwarts Legacy sold over 12 million copies and raked in $850 million in sales globally in its first two weeks, according to publisher Warner Bros. Games.
Warner also claimed the game has broken company records for player engagement with 280 million hours played to date.
