Hogwarts Legacy is shaping up to be an immersive simulation of what life would be like as a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The latest development updates that have been released from WB Games Avalanche demonstrate this concept as a priority feature, with an ambient nighttime in spring shared as an ASMR video.
But in Hogwarts Legacy’s State of Play gameplay presentation last March, there were a number of things for fans to unpack, with some features being more preferable than others. Indeed, Hogwarts Legacy is ambitiously taking on a wealth of features and mechanics that may all be engaging and fun from moment-to-moment, but it appears as though fans are more concerned with visuals, such as character models and animations in general. Thankfully, WB Games Avalanche Community Director Chandler Wood has put at least one animation qualm to rest.
Hogwarts Legacy Video Teases the Game's Puzzles
Wood shares a brief clip of a custom Hogwarts Legacy protagonist casually jogging around in an open settlement. In the clip, fans can see the character’s ankle-length Hufflepuff robes billowing behind them as they jog, as well as their scarf’s length bouncing about, reacting to their sudden changes in direction. The entire purpose of the clip is to ensure that these animations have been worked on and polished since the gameplay presentation, which also demonstrates that WB Games Avalanche’s reception to feedback has been constructive.
