In the middle of last year, Square Enix finally revealed some more details about Hitman Sniper: The Shadows. It’s the sort of sequel to one of the best sniping games on mobile, and now we’ve finally got a release date for it.
More than that, pre-registration has gone live. And we’ve got a shiny new-ish trailer to share with you as well. So if you’ve been waiting for a chance to kill people from a long way away, today’s your lucky day. Kinda.
The game doesn’t feature Agent 47. Instead you’re part of a group of covert assassins, called The Shadows, who are picking up the murdery slack in his wake. Here’s that trailer.
Much like the original game, you’re not just taking a shot and blowing someone’s digital brains out. Instead you’re making things more interesting, luring away guards and setting traps to make your kill seem accidental.
It all looks pretty cool, and we’re going to be able to play it at the start of next month. That’s right, Hitman Sniper: The Shadows is set to launch on March 3rd. That’s hardly any time at all.
You can pre-register for the game over at its official website by clicking here. Doing that will get you some in-game goodies when Hitman Sniper: The Shadows launches next month.
