Good news, serial killers! Hitman: Blood Money Reprisal launches on November 30 for Android, with pre-registrations up right now on Google Play. For those unaware, this is an enhanced port of the 2006 fourth instalment in the series, which originally launched on PS2, Xbox 360, and PC.
Reprisal costs $14.99 / £12.49 and features a huge number of improvements. The most notable of these is Instinct Mode, which you might recognise from later entries in the series. It lets you highlight nearby targets, enemies, and points of interest Assassin’s Creed-style.
There’s also a brand new minimap, which helps you keep track of your nearby environment. How we ever played a stealth game like Hitman without those two features is beyond me. It reminds you of how far game development has come.
You can play Reprisal with touch controls, a gamepad, or even a keyboard and mouse. That’s an impressive array of control options for such a small device! Then again, this is Feral Interactive, which tends to go the extra mile with its mobile ports.
Hitman: Blood Money is a stealth game, and the fourth entry in the Hitman series. It features Agent 47, the eponymous hitman, who is on a mission to take down a rival agency. It’s called “The Franchise” and you have to take down opposing assassins and the senior management.
It introduced a bunch of new features to the franchise, including platforming, better melee combat, and using enemies as shields during gunfights. It also massively improved stealth, allowing you to hide bodies, and weapon and equipment upgrades.
