Arrowhead Game Studios have released details on the PC version of Helldivers 2, including game features as well as minimum and recommended hardware specifications.
A key feature of Helldivers 2 on PC is its support for crossplay with the PlayStation 5. The original Helldivers featured crossplay between PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and even the PS Vita, but not between all those platforms and PC, so this marks a first for the series.
The PC version of the game will support “up to 4K” resolutions with both mouse and keyboard as well as controller compatibility. Fairly accommodating system requirements allow for players to achieve 30FPS at 1080P Low with a GTX 1050 Ti paired with an i7 4790K all the way up to 60FPS 4K Very High requiring an i5-12600K and a RTX 4070 Ti or AMD RX 7900 XTX.
Helldivers 2 is a sci-fi shooter built for solo or co-op play for up to four players across procedurally generated levels where players can explore a variety of alien worlds. The sequel makes a major shift from its predecessor by switching from a top-down perspective to a third-person perspective.
Helldivers 2 launches on February 8 for the PlayStation 5 and PC.
