Helldivers 2 has dropped a new update today (Tuesday 2nd April), with a big pile of official patch notes to explain what's what.
As fans wait for a revised roadmap, each of these new Helldivers 2 updates has been coming as something of a surprise.
So, what's changed in the latest update and what do the full Helldivers 2 patch notes look like today?

On the game's official Steam page, the Helldivers 2 developers have described this as "a slightly bigger update" than the game's previous patches.
Today's update has apparently been made «to assist in the liberation efforts of our galaxy as well as [adding] some new environmental threats to watch out for.»
As well those new threats, the summary from the developers' notes that the following changes have been made:

Planetary Hazard additions:
Level cap has been increased from 50 to 150.
Retrieve Essential Personnel Missions
Destroy Command Bunkers
Operation Modifiers
Halved the negative effect of operation modifiers that increase stratagem cooldowns or call in times.
Primary, Secondary & Support Weapons
Stratagems
Patriot Exosuit: rockets will now penetrate armor only on direct hit.
Enemies
Helldiver
Balancing adjustments have been made to...
Invisible collision partially blocking the doorway leading to the launch pad in the Tutorial.

These are issues that were either introduced by this patch and are being worked on, or are from a previous version and have not yet been fixed.
