The game offers some default templates, but the best players know how to organize their divisions for optimal effect. With the information in this guide, you'll be able to field armies worthy of your mighty nation.
Each land unit on the map is a single division comprised of several thousand troops, their equipment, and support staff. These can be grouped together into armies under the command of a General and will enter combat against any enemy divisions they encounter.
The composition of a division is built in the Division Designer - here, you assign unlocked unit types to a template. A division's stats are the combined total stats of all the units of which it is composed. Once a template has been finalized, you can train as many divisions of that template as your time, equipment, and manpower allow.
Templates can be edited to adapt to a changing war situation or to deploy more advanced equipment. When a division's template changes for any reason, existing divisions of that template will lose experience proportional to the severity of the change as the troops retrain.
