There have been plenty of awesome armors in Iron Man's repertoire, but one very overlooked suit nearly got him killed. This armor first showed up 2001's Iron Man #42. The issue was written by Frank Tieri and drawn by Keron Grant.
During this time in Tony Stark's life, he was trying to shed the spotlight of being a billionaire, playboy inventor. He got rid of the stake in his company, gave all of his money to a charitable foundation, and took up a pretty bland and boring IT job under the identity of Hogan Potts. The whole world is wondering where Tony Stark is, but for now, Tony is perfectly content to be an average Joe during the day, free from the burdens and responsibilities that his all too public life sometimes weighs on him.

However, just because Tony is living under a false identity doesn't mean he stops being Iron Man. Quite the opposite. Being out of the spotlight has allowed Tony to double down on his work as Iron Man, crafting newer armors all the time. One such armor is the Model 19 that he carries around with him. Unfortunately, the armor wasn't quite completed yet when Tony's subway train was attacked during his morning commute to work. He was forced to don the armor and battle the Shocker with only one repulsor blast in his arsenal. And without any tracking software, Tony's shot was widely off the mark. In the end, though, Tony was able to outsmart the Shocker and use the subway's third rail to defeat him.
For a very cool looking armor, it's a shame Tony didn't get to use it more. It was never completely finished, so fans never got to see its true potential as a full-fledged Iron Man suit. If they had, it would have been very
