Starting on December 12, viewers can watch the HBO original and nature-themed documentary Trees and Other Entanglements. This documentary details the intertwined life of people and trees and the relationship between humanity and nature, through the perspective of a young boy who was stolen and hidden among trees. The story’s perspectives also shift to other people like an artist refining American bonsai, a mother fighting to protect forests in her backyard, and a photographer observing trees artistically.
Then on December 15, viewers can stream the dystopian drama film, The Giver, which is based on Lois Lowry’s 1993 young adult novel of the same name. The film stars Jeff Bridges, Brenton Thwaites, and Odeya Rush in the lead roles.
Finally, on December 16, viewers can stream the comedy special, Leo Reich; Literally Who Cares? which will see Reich deliver a stand-up special where she addresses important topics related to political and social discourse.
