Arc System Works announced in September last year that its acclaimed fighter, Guilty Gear Strive, would be coming to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One in Spring 2023, and also held a cross-play open beta for the fighter last month. While an announcement hasn’t yet been made about when exactly the game will launch for Microsoft’s consoles, it seems the release date isn’t too far away.
As spotted by a user on ResetEra, the Xbox store is currently listing a release for Guilty Gear Strive for next week, on March 7. It also seems like the game can be pre-loaded, with a file size of 22 GB mentioned on its store page.
A March release would, of course, align with the previously announced Spring launch window, and unless this is a mistake on Microsoft’s part, one would assume that Arc System Works will be making an announcement soon. Meanwhile, the fighter’s next DLC drop is expected to go live in April.
Currently, Guilty Gear Strive is available on PS5, PS4, and PC. When it launches for Xbox, it will also be available via Game Pass.
