One of Green Lantern’s most terrifying constructs was the perfect tribute to Batman. Throughout his career, Green Lantern has made a number of awe-inspiring hard-light constructs for a variety of purposes, and when trying to fight off an invading army in one comic, he creates one of Batman, hoping to use it to scare the aliens–and it works!
The Green Lantern Power Ring is one of the most powerful weapons in the DC Universe. Created by the Guardians of the Universe, these rings harness the green light of willpower. Not only do the rings allow their users to fly and survive in the vacuum of space, but also allows them to create hard-light constructs of literally anything–the only limit is the user’s imagination. Earth’s various Green Lanterns have used this ability to spectacular effect, creating everything from catapults to giant baseball gloves.

In 2017's Green Lantern/Space Ghost special by James Tynion IV and Christopher Sebela, Hal Jordan meets the intergalactic champion Space Ghost as part of a line-wide crossover event that paired DC’s biggest heroes with characters from beloved Hanna-Barbera cartoons, and the meeting gave Hal the chance to create his scariest hard-light image. Green Lantern has been dispatched to a mysterious dimension, responding to a distress call. Once there, he encounters Larfleeze, and as he fights the villain, Space Ghost arrives on the scene. Mistaking Green Lantern for another evil-doer, Space Ghost engages him in battle; during the ensuing fight, Green Lantern is hurled to the planet below, where he is greeted by heavily armored soldiers.
