Gran Turismo has earned its place as an iconic PlayStation exclusive franchise, and the console's foremost driving game genre title. Dating all the way back to the first game on the PS1 in 1997 and seeing a game release on every major PlayStation console since, Gran Turismo remains the highest selling franchise under the Sony brand.
Sony's best-selling individual title, including sales of its remaster, has been The Last of Us, released in 2013. The game's popularity led to not only a highly anticipated sequel, The Last of Us Part 2, released in 2020, but to droves of fans wishing to express their appreciation for the game and its characters with everything from fan-art to music to even tattoos.

It’s no surprise then, to find there is a large crossover of PlayStation owners that are fans of both of these Sony exclusive titles. Reddit user u/nascarfan624 is one such fan, using the livery editor first introduced to the series in 2017’s Gran Turismo Sport to design a car inspired by the world of The Last of Us Part 2, specifically one of the game's factions, the Fireflies.
Suitably rusted up and with a huge Fireflies logo painted across the hood, the livery looks worthy of theLast of Us’ vision of the post-apocalypse. Perhaps if things had gone a little more the way of Mad Max in the world of the Last of Us, a car like this one would fit right in tearing up the roads of the post-apocalypse.
