With enough Credits and a little story progression though, players will soon be able to get their hands on these souped-up supercars. Seasoned gearheads probably won't be too shocked by the race leaders, as the fastest cars in Gran Turismo 7 all come courtesy of the very best manufacturors in motoring.
The VGT is a concept car that was created specifically for the Vision Gran Turismo project. At 1,400 KG, it's one of the heaviest cars in the game, but makes up for this with its powerful electric engine. GT7 marks the car's second appearance in a Gran Turismo game, with the VGT Coupe having also featured as part of the 1.5 update for GT Sport.
Players can purchase the Jaguar VGT Coupe for 1 million Credits from the Jaguar section of Brand Central. Jaguar can be found in the Europe section under the UK heading.
The VGT Roadster is another concept car created for the Vision Gran Turismo project. Though it looks a little different, it's more or less identical to its Coupe cousin under the hood, with both cars delivering up to 1,004 bhp in optimal conditions. Unlike the Coupe though, the Roadster didn't feature in GT Sport, making this its very first appearance in a Gran Turismo game.
