While players praised the actual driving and the realistic-looking cars, complaints on the game have begun to surface, with lots of players displeased at having microtransactions in a full-priced AAA release. Meanwhile, not everyone has been thrilled with the game's visuals off the racing tracks, with Gran Turismo 7's underwhelming NPC graphics called into question.

As reported by VGC, Gran Turismo 7's servers have now been offline for over 24 hours — leaving players unable to enjoy the recently-launched game — and developers are keeping quiet on the matter so far. Server maintenance was originally scheduled to take place on March 17, with two hours of downtime between 6 am and 8 am UTC. The servers have yet to return at the time of writing, around 26 hours later. Fans are taking to social media to express their anger and disappointment, but the developer hasn't confirmed when Gran Turismo 7's servers will be back online.
