The CW has debuted the first official trailer for their next DC TV show, Gotham Knights, which follows the next generation of heroes after Batman's death. Since 2012, The CW has become one of the homes for Warner Bros.' DC properties as executive producer Greg Berlanti's Arrowverse has continued to expand year after year. Almost every year, the network has launched one show after another, and 2023 will be no exception. For The CW's next DC TV show, the network is bringing Gotham Knights to the screen, from Batwoman writers/producers Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux, and Natalie Abrams.
Despite having the same name as the upcoming video game, Gotham Knights is not connected to it, nor is it meant to be a Batwoman or Arrowverse spinoff. Gotham Knights follow Turner Hayes (Oscar Morgan), Bruce Wayne's adoptive son whose life is turned upside down when he gets framed for Batman's murder. Along with several children of Batman's enemies, these individuals will be forced to not only clear their names but also become Gotham City's next generation of protectors, known as the Gotham Knights.
