Following hot on the heels of a roadmap for The Sims 4 that runs from July to September, Maxis has released a trailer for the brand-new expansion pack, High School Years. It's been over a year since Cottage Living, the last expansion, was released and now finally another is on the way. Get ready to go back to school because you are about to relive your teenage years.

Rumours of a High School themed expansion have been circulating for weeks and the teen Sim on the roadmap, along with images of school equipment backed up that theory. Combine this with the teaser trailer asking Simmers about their teenage years and the speculation began. High School classes, proms, cheerleading, bands, geeks, and jocks, shoving people into a locker, and much more were all discussed as possible pack inclusions. Now we can see that most if not all of these appear to have made it into the pack.
Your teenage Sims will be able to attend high school, socialise with both teachers and peers, hang out in the corridors and personalise their locker. After-school activities are also on offer and these include cheerleading and other sports. Teens will be spoilt for choice as alongside the classrooms in Copperdale High School they can also explore the Plumbite pier, or drink boba and hunt for a bargain at ThrifTea. All before they attend the all-important prom.
