According to an insider, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has a planned release date of November 18.
Last year, one of Ubisoft's big E3-season surprises was the reveal of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, an open-world game set in the world of James Cameron's Avatar. Despite worries that its lack of appearances anywhere means that it has been delayed, gaming insider Tom Henderson has revealed that his sources have told him that it has an internal planned release date of November 18. Henderson said this when discussing the potential release date of God of War Ragnarok, which was rumoured to be launching in November as well.
When talking about Ragnarok, Henderson said, "I don't know the release date, btw. To speculate though, Nov 11th would be my guess. The next Need for Speed installment is due to launch on November 4th and sources have suggested that the current plan for Ubisoft's Avatar title is due to launch on November 18th."

It's also not unlike Ubisoft to show off a game in the same year that it's releasing, as it has been doing exactly that over the past few years with the mainline Assassin's Creed games.
If Frontiers of Pandora is still releasing this year, it seems likely that we'll see it at Gamescom or during a separate Ubisoft
