A new trailer for Avatar: Reckoning has shown off the upcoming mobile game’s version of Pandora, as well as what its combat may look like. Avatar: Reckoning was initially announced earlier this year and is being made in partnership with a number of companies, including Disney, Archosaur Games, Tencent, and Lightstorm Entertainment. Archosaur Games, which is primarily handling Avatar: Reckoning’s development, previously worked on other mobile titles such as Dragon Raja and World of Kings.
Avatar: Reckoning is one of two games in development based on the 2009 film by James Cameron, with the other being Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. While Avatar: Reckoning is an MMO RPG shooter for mobile devices, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a single-player first-person adventure game, currently in development by The Division studio Massive Entertainment. While first unveiled by publisher Ubisoft last year, and planned for release on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will feature an open-world version of Pandora players will be able to explore during their playthrough.

A new Avatar: Reckoning trailer, which was shared by IGN on Twitter, has revealed many aspects of the upcoming mobile title, building excitement for its planned release in 2023. Alongside colorful glimpses of Pandora, the trailer also teases some of Avatar: Reckoning’s combat.
