Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3's Will Poulter teases the physical transformation he underwent to become Adam Warlock. After finding success with 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy, writer/ director James Gunn returned in 2017 with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, a bigger and bolder sequel, which was a big box office hit, earning over $863 million. Although Gunn has been busy with other superhero projects, such as The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, the director is currently in the midst of shooting the third film in his MCU trilogy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Along with the regular crew of heroes, including Chris Pratt's Star-Lord, Zoe Saldaña's Gamora, Dave Bautista's Drax, Vin Diesel's Groot, Bradley Cooper's Rocket, and Karen Gillan's Nebula, it was announced last year that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 would feature Poulter and Adam Warlock. The announcement didn't come as a surprise for many fans, however, with the post-credits scene in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 having featured Elizabeth Debicki's Ayesha overseeing the creation of a powerful being she dubs «Adam».
