The legendary soldier, Solid Snake, could be returning in a Metal Gear Solid remake according to a new rumor from a reliable leaker. Metal Gear Solid was a landmark title of the original PlayStation's library and a crowning technical achievement of industry icon Hideo Kojima. However, publisher Konami has kept the series dormant since the franchise's latest outing, Metal Gear Survive, in 2018.
Developed by Hideo Kojima and published by Konami in 1998, Metal Gear Solid introduced players to revolutionary stealth-focused gameplay mechanics backdropped against a cinematically driven plot. Coupled with the voice talents of David Hayter as Solid Snake and his equally memorable co-stars who delivered some of the most prolific voice work of its era, Metal Gear Solid remains a defining example of industry standards. Its critical and commercial success would spawn a legacy of sequels, spin-offs, and even Snake’s entry into the Super Smash Bros. roster. Kojima would continue to redefine the series with each mainline entry until his untimely departure from Konami in 2015.

Known leaker AccountNgt recently took to Twitter to share their alleged insight into upcoming video game projects, asking fans for their questions.
