The Pixel 9 Pro XL will be Google’s most premium offering that will be unveiled in just a few hours, with the entire lineup comprising of two more handsets, the Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro. There is also going to be the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but we have not counted it here since it touts an entirely different form factor. While the company will remove the wraps of its entire flagship range in a short time, we got our first look at Google’s latest and greatest smartphone through a series of unboxing images, and we are confident that you will want to take a gander at these.
A total of four images were uploaded to X by Ishan Agarwal, giving us a first look at the Pixel 9 Pro XL. From this angle, Google’s upcoming premium offering looks absolutely stunning, featuring uniform bezels on each side, coupled with a front-facing punch-hole camera present at the top center. In terms of design, the advertising giant has changed things up this year, choosing to incorporate an aluminum shell that flaunts flatter edges instead of curved ones, with the camera bump looking exceptionally obvious.
Either the company made the Pixel 9 Pro XL significantly thinner than the Pixel 8 Pro, or the rear sensors it used this year are too large and need a bigger housing to accommodate them. While we can expect some impressive hardware from the flagship, not to mention some generative AI features that are neatly tucked on the software side of things, Google did the bare minimum when it comes to bundling the extra goodies.
