Genshin Impact has released a new piece of official art to celebrate the Eastern European Maslenitsa Festival, featuring a popular character from the game's Snezhnaya region. The massively popular RPG from HoYoverse has often featured new and exclusive art to celebrate a variety of holidays around the world. Past art from the developer has honored festivities like the Thai Songkran Festival and the Lunar New Year among others. Now, the newest art from HoYoverse honors a festival held throughout Eastern Slavic countries.
While not much has been revealed yet about Genshin Impact's northernmost region of Snezhnaya, players have already gotten a teaser of what to expect from the frigid region. Snezhnaya is said to be inspired by the landscapes of Russia and, particularly, the Siberia region with perpetual blizzards and hostile conditions. Players have already met multiple characters hailing from Snezhnaya with the game's primary antagonists, the Fatui, hailing from the region and one playable character from Snezhnaya. Now, Snezhnaya's Tartaglia takes the spotlight in a new art from Genshin Impact celebrating the Maslenitsa Festival.

The newest update from Genshin Impact's Russian-language Twitter account shares a special art piece of Tartaglia and his brother, Teucer, for the Maslenitsa Festival. The art depicts Tartaglia preparing a crepe for his younger brother, featuring other pastries inspired by Genshin Impact's Ruin enemies. Maslenitsa, also known as Crepe Week, is a week-long holiday celebrated in several Eastern Slavic countries including Russia and Ukraine during the last week before Great Lent.
