A new leak from Genshin Impact is teasing the first details about the appearance of the Knights of Favonius' Grand Master Varka, rumored to be coming to the game. The HoYoverse RPG has recently seen a renewed focus on the first region of Mondstadt with the land of the Anemo Archon taking the spotlight in Version 3.5. The return of the Windblume Festival is set to bring Mondstadt's newest character, Mika, releasing during the update's second half. Now, new leaks are sharing the first information about a long-awaited character.
Despite Mondstadt's status as Genshin Impact's first region and the position of power Varka holds, players have yet to officially see the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius. Genshin Impact's story reveals early on that the Knights' leader is away on an expedition, with Jean left as the Acting Grand Master for the organization. Varka is mentioned numerous times both throughout the story and in individual characters' voicelines, leading to speculation that he may eventually become a playable character. Now, Varka's proper introduction may not be far off.

A recent leak from prominent Genshin Impact leaker Tao has revealed some of the first details about the appearance of Grand Master Varka. Varka's appearance is said to differ from many fans' early expectations of the grizzled Grand Master, not looking like a «grandpa» character as some had believed. Varka is confirmed to have a younger appearance and his character model will not have a beard. Varka was previously leaked by Tao to be appearing for the first time in Version 3.8, becoming more prominent after Fontaine is released.
