An update for Genshin Impact has revealed that the game's newest four-star character will be receiving an emergency hotfix, adjusting the cost of one of Mika's abilities. The arrival of Version 3.5's second half brought two highly-anticipated re-runs and a new four-star character to the HoYoverse RPG. The newest banners feature re-runs of a pair of popular Cryo characters with both Shenhe and Ayaka joined by Mondstadt's newest character in Mika. Now, the surveyor for the Knights of Favonius' Reconnaissance Company has a few surprise changes on the way.
Mika officially debuted in Genshin Impact earlier this week as a Cryo polearm user focused around supporting and buffing Physical damage teams. Mika's abilities feature a variety of buffs to aid characters relying on their Normal Attacks with his Elemental Burst adding healing to the active character's Normal Attacks. His Ascension passives also provide other buffs for DPS characters, with his first adding a Physical damage buff to his Elemental Skill and fourth generating stacks of his passive faster. Now, however, Mika's Charged Attack will be receiving a minor nerf next week.
Genshin Impact Releases Mika Character Demo
An official update within Genshin Impact has revealed the upcoming change being made to Mika as a mid-patch hotfix. The notice refers to a bug with Mika's in-game values wherein his Charged Attack's Stamina Cost is currently set at 20, instead of its intended 25. The fix to Mika will be implemented next week on March 30th with HoYoverse reportedly planning to compensate players for the fix. It is unknown what the compensation will be, with some fans speculating it could take the form of free Primogems or other in-game resources.
