Kit Harington is set to join his Game of Thrones co-stars at the show's first official fan convention, three years after the series officially concluded. The hit HBO fantasy series, which was based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire novels, aired for eight seasons from 2011 to 2019. Throughout its run, Game of Thrones attracted a massive international fan base and earned numerous recognitions for its superb storytelling and exciting narrative. The show also catapulted the careers of many of its cast members, including Harington, who played the role of Jon Snow.
The Game of Thrones Official Fan Convention, initially slated for last February in Las Vegas, will now be held on December 9-11 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Along with the change of date, the event will now include Harington on its panel of guest stars, EW reports. He will join other actors who have been previously confirmed to attend including Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), Jack Gleeson (Joffrey Baratheon), Kristofer Hiyiu (Tormund), Gemma Whalen (Yara Greyjoy), and Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne).

The Game of Thrones Official Fan Convention will be a chance for fans to celebrate the show and revisit its greatest moments. It's also an opportunity to meet some of their favorite cast members in person and mingle with other fans. Aside from panel discussions, attendees can expect other fun activities such as trivia quizzes, cosplay competitions, and an after-dinner party with DJ Kristian Nairn (Hodor).
