Baldur's Gate 3 never outright states the age of our companions, but we're given enough information to make a fair estimation. For example, since she was in Baldur's Gate 2 as an adult, we know that Jaheira has to be towards the end of her lifecycle. Astarion, on the other hand, has to be at least 235, given his date of "death" and the fact that he's been a vampire for around 200 years.
Gale, however, was much harder to place. Estimates varied, but many assumed he was in his forties, given the grey strands in his hair, as well as his overall calm, mature demeanour. But no, he's 35 years old, apparently, making him one of the youngest at camp.
This is according to two sources, one of them being leaked details from his profile in the game Idle Champions. Now, while this is just a leak, it's worth mentioning that this is also in line with what a developer at Larian had in mind. Gale really is just a kid in the world of wizardry.
However, this doesn't make this information any easier to digest for Gale fans, many of whom were under the impression that he was, at the very least, in his mid-forties. Going through a breakup with a goddess will really take it out of you, I suppose.
With all of this said, Idle Champions has got it wrong before. It had to change Astarion's age from 350 to 263 after fans pointed out that the former doesn't line up with what we're told in-game. The rest have stuck though, so if the Gale leak is accurate, here's the full list of confirmed Baldur's Gate 3 character ages so far:
It's hard to pin Jaheira's age down. She appears in the Idle Champions lineup with the classic Baldur's Gate gang, listing her age as 36. If this is her age at the very end of Baldur's Gate 2, then this would make her 160 years old in the third game -
