Today, we have an exact date, which further confirms Samsung's plan with the new phones.
Renowned tipster Ice Universe posted that the Galaxy S24 series is going to launch on January 18, 2024. This is a month earlier than what Samsung has been doing for some time, and honestly, this is a good thing because the company is facing stiff competition from the iPhone 15 series, and releasing the phones earlier will allow people to get their hands on the devices earlier.
Now, many people would argue about Samsung's decision to do this, but you have to keep in mind that this is not the first time the company has done it. For instance, the Galaxy S20 series was released in March of 2020. The Galaxy S21, on the other hand, was released in January of 2021. The Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S23 were both released in February 2022 and 2023, respectively. This means that the release date for the Galaxy S24 falls in line, and considering how the new iPhone 15 series is proving to be a massive success, it makes all the more sense for Samsung to hurry up and release something that can compete against Apple's latest and greatest.
