Dusty Rhodes once famously asked Paul Heyman where the money was after one of his excellent promos, and for the ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view, the money match is FTR against the Briscoes. With all due respect to the rest of the card, which also features AEW star Claudio Castagnoli chasing his first-ever world championship and a returning Samoa Joe, this will almost undoubtedly be the match of the night.
Other tag teams might face a real possibility of underdelivering under that pressure, but that doesn't even seem within the realm of possibility ahead of this weekend's pay-per-view. Their first meeting at Supercard Of Honor was can't miss and will likely be included on just about every wrestling observer's top-10 match list at the end of 2022. With the added two-out-of-three falls stipulation, this fight for the ROH World Tag Team Championships has all the ingredients necessary to be an instant classic.

That's a phrase that probably gets thrown around too often these days. There's so much fantastic wrestling going on all over the world, it seems like there's a new must-see match every few days. Even WWE's recent Money In The Bank was awesome, with the men's MITB ladder match and the bout between The Usos and The Street Prophets really standing out. Fans are being treated to an abundance of fantastic wrestling when there are two four-plus star matches on a middling premium live event from WWE. Ring Of Honor is in a very, very different spot, having been purchased and saved by Tony Khan. The company is without a weekly television deal, and these pay-per-views are a way to keep the brand alive.
