Tactical turn-based reimagined classic Front Mission 1st: Remake is out now, and it looks to have retained the strategic stylings of its PS1 predecessor. We got a nostalgic look at gameplay in a new trailer, and it's making us want to tinker and tweak some mechs, just like in the bad old days.
Developed by Forever Entertainment, Front Mission 1st is the same game but brought forward for a new generation. With updated visuals and reorchestrated soundtrack, it still offers the same level of tactical depth that made the PS1 a Golden Age for the genre and will likely appeal to fans of Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together craving a sci-fi spin.

I had a friend who bought a snes and he bought this huge thing that plugged into it. This huge thing turned out to be some kind of convertor that enabled him to play import games from japan and america and they ran in full screen (no crappy pal borders.) One of the first games we played was the original front mission and we played it for what seemed like forever. Happy memories indeed from an era long gone. My point being that although i'm getting a bit misty eyed here (or cataracts are to blame) and the nostalgia kick is in full effect i doubt i'd ever play this because i'm enjoying
