True to the traditions of the franchise, the upcoming Forza Motorsport is once again looking to push the envelope with its visual and technical achievements, which is why it comes as no surprise that the system requirements for its PC version are quite steep, even if you choose to play on the lowest settings.
Turn 10 Studios has revealed the full PC requirements for the racing sim, and regardless of settings, you’ll need an SSD, as well as 130 GB of free storage space.
On minimum settings, you’ll also need either an i5-8400 or a Ryzen 5 1600, along with either a GTX 1060 or an RX 5500 XT, and 8 GB of RAM. Meanwhile, on recommended settings, you’ll need either an i5-11600k or a Ryzen 5 5600X, along with either an RTX 2080 Ti or an RX 6800 XT, and 16 GB of RAM. Finally, on ultra settings, you’ll need either an i7-11700k or a Ruzen 5 5800X, along with either an RTX 4080 or an RX 7900XT, and 16 GB of RAM.

Turn 10 has also confirmed that in addition to native 4K, DLSS 2, and FSR2.2, ultrawide and non-standard resolutions for on-track gameplay are also supported, and shader pre-compilation and pre-caching will also be introduced. In addition to that, you can expect support for DIrectStorage, and unlocked framerates with or without V-Sync enabled in single player. When it comes to multiplayer, the game will run at a locked framerate.
Forza Motorsport launches on October 10 for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
