A cryptic social media post by John Cena suggests that Peacemaker could be the next DC character to be featured as a playable skin in Fortnite. While Christopher Smith and his gunslinging alter-ego have been a part of DC Comics since the mid-60s, mainstream audiences got their first exposure to the man devoted to peace in last year’s The Suicide Squad. Last year, Epic even collaborated with DC to publish Batman/Fortnite Zero Point, a six-part miniseries that saw the Dark Knight battle against characters like G.I. Joe’s Snake-Eyes in a twisted game of Fortnite. Meanwhile, Marvel has seen the Fortnite debut of Spider-Man’s classic nemesis the Green Goblin, and Uncharted’s Nathan Drake and Chole Frazer will be landing on the Island later this week to promote the upcoming Uncharted film.
