A Fortnite leaker has revealed the existence of a Shredder skin directly from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which will be arriving in the game at some point in the future. The character has been part of multiple collaborations over the past few years — Call of Duty added Shredder back in 2023, with SMITE featuring Super Shredder in 2022, and now it seems that Fortnite is next in line.
It wouldn't be the first time the Turtles have crossed over with the game. Back in December, Fortnite officially revealed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle skins, adding April O'Neil alongside the quartet of Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello. These characters were available as part of Fortnite's Winterfest 2023 event, and it was exciting news for fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Now, it seems the focus has moved to adding one of the franchise's main antagonists to the game.
Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey shared the news on Twitter, confirming that Shredder will be joining the game alongside an amazing render of the character. According to iFireMonkey, Shredder will be joining Fortnite as part of a questline titled «April O'Neil Investigates!» which will feature four quests called «Talk to April,» «Hide in Sewer entrances,» «Visit the Underground HQ,» and «Find empty pizza boxes.» This indicates that Shredder will offer a little more than just a cosmetic skin. Unfortunately, the leaker didn't say when players can get their hands on Shredder, so gamers will have to wait for official confirmation from Epic Games for a release date.
Collaborations are nothing new for Fortnite. The game has a vast library of characters, many of which are drawn from other franchises, with Epic Games still expanding the cast all the time.
