If you’ve played Pokemon Black & White, X & Y, Sun & Moon, Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, or Sword & Shield, then you’ve played a Pokemon game where James Turner was the art director. The first westerner to design an official Pokemon at Game Freak, Turner’s personal designs include Buzzwole, Guzzlord, Trevenant, Phantump, the Galarian versions of the Obstagoon line, and the ice cream Pokemon, Vanillite, Vanillish, and Vanilluxe. So they weren’t all great, but most of Turner’s designs were pretty good Pokemon.
Unfortunately, Turner won’t be making any new Pokemon. He’s quit his job at Game Freak and has announced a new studio he’s formed with @onebitbeyond, the solo dev who made 2018’s The Sword of Ditto. Their new studio, All Possible Futures, will reveal its first game "very soon," and do it "with an awesome trailer."

The only clue we have is a single piece of art showcasing a cartoon cat briefing us in the evening news. It seems to share a bit of Sword of Ditto's art style, but it doesn't really give us much else to go on.
Thankfully, we won't have to wait long for more info. @onebitbeyond tweeted that trailer will drop in less than 24 hours, so stay tuned to the All Possible Futures Twitter account to see what their first game is all about.
