Pedro and Chantel Jimeno from The Family Chantel are officially divorcing, confirming their ongoing marital drama. After Pedro faked his emotional family storyline during The Family Chantel season 3, many viewers believed that the duo was exaggerating or acting out their drama for the current season. However, an increasing amount of messy details are now emerging about Pedro and Chantel's ongoing divorce.
Chantel and Pedro first aired their relationship on 90 Day Fiancé. The young couple was very much in love and overcame a long-distance relationship and intense family drama in order to be together and ultimately get married. However, the couple had clearly had serious relationship issues sometime between seasons 3 and 4 of The Family Chantel. The current season showed a dramatically different Pedro. He appears completely checked out of his marriage and only focused on his real estate career and coworkers. A heartbroken Chantel has been working hard as a nurse, as well as completing the household chores. However, Pedro still brands her as lazy, even refusing to spend time with her.
