The apocalyptic survival game Forever Games just launched in Early Access for PC, and you can grab it at a nice 20% discount during its launch week.
The launch week discount brings the game down to just $24 (normally $30) on both Fanatical and Steam. While Fanatical keys unlock on Steam, buying from Fanatical gets you a bonus 5%-off coupon you can use on future Fanatical purchases. Steam, on the other hand, has a bundle deal that includes Forever Skies and Green Hell--another open-world survival and crafting game--for $44.08 (normally $54.98) in addition to the Forever Skies standalone deal.
Forever Skies' launch week discount is available until June 29.
Forever Skies is a first-person survival game from indie development team Far From Home, a studio made up of former AAA developers. The game is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth where pollution and disease have rendered the planet's surface uninhabitable, so humans live in floating sky settlements. Players explore the open--but increasingly toxic--skies in their own upgradable airship, and delve down to the planet's deadly surface in search of supplies and materials. Check out more about the game in the Forever Skies extended gameplay trailer.
If Forever Skies sounds like your kind of game, be sure to grab it while it's discounted during its launch week. As for other new game deals, preorders for the PC versions of Starfield and Star Ocean: The Second Story R are both discounted at select retailers.
Disclosure: GameSpot and Fanatical are both owned by Fandom.
