Far From Home has delayed the version 1.0 launch of science-fiction first-person survival game Forever Skies from its previously planned 2024 release window to early 2025. It will be available simultaneously for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
Forever Skies first launched in Early Access for PC via Steam on June 22, 2023.
Over the last coupon of months, Far From Home began designing and implementing “substantial changes” to many existing systems, which pushed the full release out of 2024. These changes include a major progress overhaul, dividing the world into biomes, stronger emphasis on altitude and airship management, and dynamic random encounters.
However, the developer has confirmed that it still plans to release the four-player cooperative play update for the Early Access version in 2024, with the first beta test planned to start in the coming weeks.
