A fan theory suggests that Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach protagonist Gregory may be linked to the character Greg from the horror novel Fazbear Frights #2: Fetch. The latest entry in the survival horror franchise features free-roam gameplay, allowing players to sneak around the title's cast of bloodthirsty animatronics. Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach includes different endings, too, with player actions leading to different outcomes.

Playing as protagonist Gregory, players must avoid various haunted animatronics using stealth and an array of tools. Throwing objects can lure the killer robots into more easily avoided locations, and a Glamrock Freddy animatronic also serves as an ally. Gregory can hide inside of Glamrock Freddy, using the bear as a disguise to sneak past the other antagonistic animatronics. While the the game was the series' lowest rated installment, FNAF: Security Breach DLC could potentially expand the horror experience in the future.
