Storm Eunice is sweeping across the U.K. with gale-force winds, battering planes as they attempt to land at the London Heathrow airport. The U.K. Met Office has issued multiple weather warnings for London and large parts of the U.K. as Storm Eunice picks up steam, lashing the city and its surrounding areas with up to 90mph winds.
The most powerful wind gusts, however, have been recorded in Needles on the Isle of Wight, where recorded wind speeds hit 122mph. The storm conditions are expected to become more intense throughout the day, with rare 'Red' weather warnings issued, denoting that the extreme weather could pose danger to human life.

With Storm Eunice battering London and surrounding areas, a live feed of planes attempting to land at the Heathrow airport amid the extreme weather is captivating people on YouTube. When checked, more than 193,000 people were glued to the livestream on the BigJetTV YouTube channel as a camera zoomed in on jumbo jets landing amid the high winds. Most of the plans are landing without incident, although once in a while, some are experiencing difficulties while attempting to touch down on the tarmac. Each landing is accompanied with background commentary that's largely appreciative of the pilots landing the planes safely amid the worsening weather.
According to Express, the person behind the BigJetTV YouTube channel is Jerry Dyer, who is also the one operating the camera and doing the commentary. In an interview with BBC Radio 2, Dyer reportedly praised the pilots and airport workers for doing their job perfectly even in adverse weather, saying "… this is the most exciting stuff you could possibly get."
