There are many different collectibles to find in Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection including the Hidden Artifacts in Brotherhood that players can find by exploring the present-day setting. The Animus can be exited at any time during Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood by going into the menu and choosing the Leave Animus option. When players leave the Animus, they will take control of Desmond in present-day Monteriggioni, and he can explore the immediate area, but there's a 10-minute time limit.
While exploring present-day Monteriggioni, Desmond can collect a total of five Hidden Artifacts related to Ezio's life in Assassin's Creed and the story taking place within the Animus. Players can find Ezio's Belt, Mario's Sword, a Medici Cape, Maria's Feather Chest, and Claudia's Record Book. A few of the objects are very well hidden or placed along the border of the playable area, and traveling too far will warp Desmond back into the Animus room.

In order to collect all of the Hidden Artifacts, players will need to carefully explore Monteriggioni while being aware of the time limit. The timer will appear at the top of the screen so players can track how long they have left to explore. The Hidden Artifacts can be identified by their golden glow, but they can still be hard to spot if players don't know where to look. Most of them are outside of the Villa except for Claudia's Record Book.
