A Don't Worry Darling image shows stars Florence Pugh and Harry Styles cuddling. The upcoming film is the second by actor-turned-director Olivia Wilde, following her successful 2019 debut Booksmart. Don't Worry Darling is set to hit theaters on September 23 of this year, and become available to stream on HBO Max 45 days later.
Outside of the exciting young leads in Pugh and Styles, who play a married couple in the 1950s, Wilde's new movie sports an impressive cast. The director herself is listed in a supporting role, alongside Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, Nick Kroll, and KiKi Layne, who viewers will recognize from If Beale Street Could Talk and The Old Guard. The film once was set to feature both Dakota Johnson and Shia LeBeouf, but while the former was replaced by Layne after a scheduling conflict with last year's The Lost Daughter, Wilde reportedly fired LaBeouf for his on-set behavior.

Little has been revealed about Wilde's movie so far, but with this Don't Worry Darling image shared by Warner Bros. Pictures, the marketing campaign seemingly begins in earnest. The shot frames the faces of Pugh and Styles as they share a loving embrace in bed, teasing what will be a close, passionate relationship between their two characters, Alice and Jack. However, Jack's inscrutable expression could be an early hint at the dark secret the film's synopsis says he is hiding from his wife. Check out the image below:
